美國孩子對未來的看法

在Carolina Parent無意中看到這篇調查，覺得很有趣，摘錄如下
"孩子們對於未來的看法"(抽樣1000個9-11歲的孩子,TIME For Kids magazine及KidsHealth.org)
1. 有2/3的孩子們同意"我的未來會很偉大"(My future is going to be great.)

2.有94%的孩子(幾乎全部)覺得，在美國他們長大後可以做任何他們想做的事(Almost all--94%--say kids can grow up to be anything they want in the U.S.)

3.只有一半的人認為十年後這個世界環境會更好(Just more than half,or 51%--think the world will be a better place in 10 years.)

4.大多數的人(90%)認為，在他們有生之年可以看見美國選出女總統A vast majority--90%--think they will see a woman elected president of the U.S. in their lifetime.

第一項答案最令人印象深刻， 因為他們的教育就是如此，孩子顯得多麼樂觀和自信!!想想在台灣我們的孩子埋首於電動和安親班之中，他們會是怎樣的答案?

...我很喜歡女兒老師Mrs. Johnson帶給班上的班歌和班呼，每天早上上課前全班都會唱一唱，呼喊一下；
